Dean Oswald, owner and caretaker has been rescuing bears since 1985. He and his family opened the Ranch in 1997. Dean has a special bond with these bears, walking freely through their habitats, bears trailing behind or sometimes playfully chewing on his arms. The rescued bears range in age from adult to newborn, each specially cared for and made comfortable in their new home.
Habitats are equipped with a photo taking platform where visitors can pet and feed the bear cubs!
The ranch is located just 20 miles south of Tahquamenon Falls State Park and is a great way to end a day adventure at the Falls.
Admission is $20 per car load, and free for active military.
